 Kumarakom
is a beautiful tourist village in the Kottayam
district. of Kerala. Kumarakom is essentially
a small cluster of islands located in the
largest backwaters of Kerala- the Vembanad
Lake. The place is important from the tourist
point of view for the sheer natural beauty.
There are a lot of agriculture activities
that are conducted here. Some of the best
sea food delicacies can be found here like
the pearl spotted fish also called Karimeen
shrimp and prawns. Tourism in Kumarakom

two main airports on either side, the Cochin
