Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary - Chinnar wildlife
sanctuary is famous as a thorny scrub forest
with xerophytes species. It is located in
the Idukki district of Kerala and. It is
located about 150 km from Munnar. The nearest
airport is Cochin International airport

Ernakulum railway station. The important

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - Kumarakom Bird
Sanctuary is located on the banks of the
Vembanand Lake .Various varieties of birds
can be seen here. Local varieties such as
waterfowls, cuckoos and owls, as well as
the migratory Siberian Cranes can be viewed
here. It is located about 12 kms from Kottayam.

Sanctuary is located at a distance of 40
kms from Thodupuzha. Elephants are the main
attractions. The other species include Langur,
Leopard and Wild Boar.Kochi is the nearest
airport.
